Most brokerages give you one lever: your split. Real gives you three. Your commission, the equity you build in the company, and a revenue-share line that pays you for helping the brokerage grow. Here is each one, in plain numbers.
Keep 85%, cap at $15,000, then keep it all.
You keep 85% of your commission and Real keeps 15%, until the 15% adds up to $15,000 CAD in a year. That is your cap. After you hit it, you keep 100% of every commission for the rest of your anniversary year, with only a modest per-transaction fee on each closing.
There are no monthly desk fees and no franchise royalty. The costs are honest and itemized: a one-time sign-up, a small per-deal broker review fee, and a $1,200 CAD annual brokerage and risk fee collected across your first three deals of the year. That is the whole picture.
Own a piece of a public company.
Real trades publicly under REAX on the Nasdaq and the TSX. As you produce, a portion of your commission goes into buying Real stock at a discount, and the brokerage awards additional shares for capping and for hitting milestones. The brokerage you work under becomes something you own a slice of.
This is the piece almost no traditional brokerage can match. At a franchise, every deal you close builds the brand's value. At Real, it builds yours too. Over a career, the equity can become as meaningful as the commission that funded it.
Get paid when the brokerage grows.
When you sponsor an agent into Real, you earn a share of the company's revenue from their production, five tiers deep. It is paid out of Real's portion, never out of the other agent's commission, so nobody loses anything. As your network produces, this becomes a second income line that keeps paying whether or not you sell that month.
