I had come in contact with Stephan via Facebook ad, and like many may have been, had been somewhat reluctant. When I started looking to buy my first place, I found a specific neighbourhood that I really liked, but I didn’t have a realtor at the time. I wanted to see if I could learn a bit more about that neighbourhood, so I emailed the realtors that were on the listings from that area. Stephan was the only one who replied to me, and because of that initial conversation, I chose Stephan as my realtor. I began actively looking for places prior to COVID-19, but didn’t have much luck against the bidding wars. The lockdowns began shortly after, and I stopped looking for places. Fast forward 9 months, when I found a listing in the same area that I was interested in when I first started looking. I hadn’t talked to Stephan since the lockdowns, but I messaged him the same day saying I’d like to look at the listing, and a couple hours later we had a walkthrough scheduled for the next day.
